Are we in a ‘bromance’?

A new term has come to light and everyone is talking about it.  Bromance - A close relationship between to male friends that is not sexual.  That is the definition from the CNN.com reporter but I beg to differ.  Her definition is a bit vague and can be considered for just about all male friends.  My definition of a bromance is simple - A close bond between two male friends where you have each others back no matter the reason or cause.  You can say ‘I love you’ and understand that there is no Brokeback Mountain moment about to happen.  You can also order your bromantic partners food and drink without even asking what they want.  Sometimes a bromance can fall into a Ménage à Trois-Bromance, where three male friends are so close they can love each other in a non-sexual way.

So the question then becomes, are you involved in a bromance?  I can honestly say that I think I would be considered a bromantic whore since I have quite a few bromances out there.  The question then becomes…if the wife gets jealous of your bromance and you want to include her…is that considered a bromantictrain???
