I know, I saw this story and thought that I was reading it wrong. This is actually a story from Oprah.com, I swear I look for the articles only.
So the story basically talks about how more and more women are getting into and are aroused by porn. I find this intriguing…lol. I promise this post will stay clean and can be read at work unless of course your boss attacks you for looking at the word porn.
Now I am pretty sure a very large number of people, whether they want to admit it or not, have either seen porn on video, online or in a magazine. I personally do not see porn as a bad thing unless of course you watch it at great lengths daily. it can be very entertaining and sometimes even arousing. I am not afraid to admit this. With our satellite we have the premium package which includes all movie channels. Thus we now have access to HBO (known for Real Sex, Sexsetra, Cab stories, Bunny Ranch and multiple documentary shows), Cinamax (also known as skinamax for all of it’s b-rated porn after 9PM) and Showtime (which shows some b-rate porn and some great documentaries). Some we have watched and have been amazed while others we laugh and think…”does this really turn someone on?” We have even seen the AVN Award show on HBO, which is the Adult Video Network Award show which gives out awards for various adult scenes in porn…which I am sure you can get the drift there.
So the question I have after reading this story is, “are more women starting to find porn attractive?”. I mean porn used to be that really bad word that only happened on highway road sides and back rooms of the video store. This is a multi-billion dollar industry which tells us that there is a lot of kinky folks out there. I will let you read the story and think for yourself before i get to far into this post and get into trouble.

This is a bit early but I wanted to let everyone know that two very close friends of ours are getting married next year in August. They will be getting married in the beautiful State of Minnesota and we could not be more proud and happy for them. My wife and I have decided on naming Chris and Crystal as the God-Parents to our 4 beautiful children. They will one day have children of their own and they will both make incredible parents. We love you both and cannot wait to celebrate your marriage!
Now that the tear jerking is done lets have some fun with this wedding. You two are very outgoing and fun people and I think your wedding should be the exact same thing. I was sent this video and thought, “This is the perfect wedding for the perfect couple”.
Here is to the two of you and may we celebrate your wedding for many years to come. Cheers.

So today is Friday and it has been a long week to say the least. I was pondering on writing a good rant on a few stories in the news but decided against it. Instead I decided today we need to just enjoy the day, get up and dance and have a great Friday. So everyone please stand up, go to an open part of your office, cubicle or wherever you are and push play on the following video. Then when you feel it in the bones…dance. Dance I say, dance!
I know the video and sounds may be a bit geeky for some, but if I can dance to this then so can you.
Jib Kidder is a composer/sound artist out of San Fransisco, California (though apparently he’s from Fayetteville, Georgia, which on a personal note is also where I hail from), and he’s the creator of this awesome track called “Windowdipper” that incorporates some samples that most of you will find extremely familiar.

You may or may not remember these complete freaks of nature but they have made the news again. I have tried to search and determine a word that best suits these freaks of nature but cannot find one. I cannot describe how sad I feel for their children being raised in this culture of hate. Where in any bible or religious writing does it teach hate? I have posted on these morons in the past with the ever famous Santa will kill your childrenbut to sing a song about God hates the World and all her people…WTF?!? If God hates the World and all her people…does that not include you? I mean you do live on this World correct? Or are you broadcasting from another planet? Please do me a huge favor and everybody else a favor…drink some tainted kool-aid and die. Seriously…please just die and go away. I do not promote hate or tell people to hate, but you and your following…I hate you all! You suck in every way possible.
Here is the link to their website, but I warn you it is wrong in every way possible. I know posting about this is like giving them free publicity but we need people to be aware of who is out there. These people truly scare me.

If you know me in any way you know that I love MMA and going out to watch UFC at Champ’s. Some have even asked if Champ’s pay me to endirse them…I only wish they did (that is a huge hint Nate, Mr. Manager of Champ’s at Aspen Grove). Anyways, for me MMA is the best thing to watch other than professional football. If the NFL is not careful the UFC fan based will get so big it could even overshadow the NFL…in a few years maybe.
Back to the story, if you watched UFC 100, you saw a masterful beat down in the heavyweight division by Brock Lesnar. His only MMA loss is to Frank Mir and he came in with anger and attitude and got his revenge as he beat Frank Mir’s face in. This fight was one of the big reasons I watch MMA. The pure gladiator feeling of it, the blood being sprayed everywhere, the arms and legs getting bent in ways they are not supposed to be bent. Men are in nature drawn to violence and sex, that is why they have the card girls between every round. We get to see the TNA and watch violence at the same time. it is like watching a pure action movie. Some people object and say that it promotes violence, exploits women and is just not a proper thing to have on TV or see live in person. To those folks I say, “STFU and go help your kids solve the next Diego/Dora story! These women are not exploited, they are working and getting paid for looking beautiful. These men and women that fight are getting paid for putting on a great fight. These men and women train very hard for their MMA fights. If you dislike something, CHANGE THE CHANNEL!”
I have been watching MMA since I first saw the UFC live here in Denver on November 13th of 1993. This is back when the fights were tournament style and not one on one. You had to fight until the end and if you could not go an alternate was put in your place. I watched with amazement and joy as the Legend Royce Gracie one that day. He had to endure 3 fights that day and still showed his master ability of submissions. I also one other legend that night, Ken Shamrock, get beat by Royce Gracie. Since that day, I have been hooked and I can proudly say my wife is hooked as well. Of course she loves the women fights just as much as I do.
Man, I keep getting off track here…back to the idea of this story now, Brock Lesnar. I heard people “boo” and piss and moan about how he acted after he beat the ever living crap out of Frank Mir. I disagree, what he did was draw more fans to the UFC. People talked about this fight that night, the next day and are still talking. That talk leads to more people watching and more people getting hooked. Everyone wants to know who this bad boy is, who this jerk ass is, who this guy is that made fun of his beaten down opponent. The people that hate Brock Lesnar will now tune in just to see if he loses. I even heard people call him the fat-ass of the UFC, the wanna be champion and even the lucky champion. How the hell do you get that out of a guy who is built like a tank and has always been a champion in every thing he did?!? Brock Lesnar did exactly what he should have done, beat his opponent down, talk trash as he tried to get up and let the Las Vegas crowd know how he felt about them cheering on Frank Mir. He is a fighter folks, not a freaking suit running for President. His job is to beat the crap out of whoever steps in against him and be proud of it. He is the champion, the UFC Heavyweight Champion…enough said.
When the fight was done, Brock decided to let everyone know what was running through his mind. “I’m going to go home tonight and drink a Coors Light because Bud Light won’t pay me,” said Lesnar, pointing at the logo of the presenting sponsor of the event. “I’m going to sit down with my friends and family and hell, I might even get on top of my wife tonight.” I personally think that is awesome! If Bud Light decided to not pay him, then screw them. If he wants to go go home with the boys, the family and knock his wife out in bed…good for him and damn good for her!
One other comment that drove Frank Mir fans crazy was, “Frank Mir had a horseshoe up his ass and I told him that a year ago,” said Lesnar, who refused to touch gloves or shake hands with Mir before or after the fight. “I pulled that [expletive] down and I beat him up. Whooo!”. WHOOO is right baby! This is not a gentlemen’s game people, this is war, this is the real Gladiator sport. The only thing we are missing is Caesar and the Colosseum.
Remember, for every good guy there is always a bad guy. We need bad guys, we need hated opponents to boo, we need Brock Lesnar in the UFC.
God Bless Dana White for the UFC!

Yes I said ignorant white people suck and I meant it. I am white and I am not afraid to admit this. I am not against any race, creed or color and feel everyone deserves their fair shot at everything in life. If you are gay and want a job, you deserve it as long as you earn it and so on. We could go through every example but you get my point. I am writing this rant for many reasons but one recent story in particular. Montco Swim Club Sucks So this swim club in Philly took money from a group called Creative Steps, Inc so that 65 children between the ages of 5 and 12 could join Valley Club. They showed up, started swimming and started to hear the questions, “Why is there browns and blacks in our pool?”. WHY?!? Because they paid to be there just like you, you f***ing ignorant dumb s**t! Here is an exact quote, “What are all of these black kids doing here?”. What in the f**k are you doing asking that question and who gave you the right to ask it?!? Here we are, 2009 and we still have ignorant morons running around shooting their mouths off. By the end of the day for these kids and parents, this so called Valley Club gave the group their check back ($1,950 to be exact). With this refund given to the group, that means these kids no longer have access to the club or pool. With the explanation as to why the refund was given, space issues not race, the Valley Club of White F***ing Morons has started quite the racial storm in Philly. I mean come on, what are you afraid of? You afraid they might actually have fun and get along with the white kids?!? You afraid your precious little white daughter might take a liking to a black boy? I actually read this story and thought to myself, why?
Everyone knows the story of Tiger Woods. If you do not know his story, maybe you should read about it. When he joined the PGA, there was still golf courses he was not allowed to play at because they had specific rules about anybody that was not white and of white origin. Since he came along, these courses have decided to open their minds and get with today’s society and allow other races to join and play their courses. Yes, there is still some dumb-ass white golf courses in this World but for the most part it has not affected the average everyday man or woman. I know we still have racial tensions and problems in this World but to actually tell a group of black and Hispanic kids get lost, white kids only…that is just sad and wrong.
Back tot he swim club, if space was the issue you are using then why in the hell did you take their money in the first place??? To me that sounds like a very sad excuse and a very quick reaction answer. Step up and tell us the truth. Admit you are a racist group and let the race war begin. I am not saying we start an all out war against racism, but something has to be done about crap like this. I especially do not think we need to hear from Jesse Jackson about this issue but I am sure he will at some point. No offense Jackson, but you are a cause to some of our racism in the World.
Can’t we all just get along? ;-) I am proud of my stance on race and if you cannot say that then maybe it is time for you to change as well.
Days before a Northeast Philadelphia day camp’s membership at a private suburban swim club was rescinded, several of the campers said they had heard racial remarks about themselves at the pool.
Parents and staff members of Creative Steps Inc. day camp are considering legal action against the Valley Club in Huntingdon Valley, said Alethea Wright, the camp’s executive director.
Sixty-five campers, kindergartners through seventh graders who are African American and Hispanic, arrived at the private swim club around 3:30 p.m. on June 29. It was their first visit to the club, but the camp had made arrangements for weekly trips on Mondays through Aug. 10.
While the campers were swimming, Wright said, three of them came up to her and said they had heard club members asking what African Americans were doing at the club.
Although the children were upset, Wright said, they stayed at the pool for an hour more to complete their session. She said that she approached club president John Duesler while events unfolded that day and that he seemed apologetic.
On July 3, Wright said, the camp’s $1,950 check in membership fees to the swim club was refunded, meaning the children no longer had access to the pool. She said Duesler gave no reason for the refund except that the membership no longer wanted the children at the pool.
Repeated attempts to reach Duesler, other club officers, and the club’s management yesterday were unsuccessful. NBC10, which first reported the story, said yesterday that Duesler had given the station the following statement: “There was concern that a lot of kids would change the complexion . . . and the atmosphere of the club.”
The club is not affiliated with the Huntington Valley Country Club, which today inadvertantly found itself a target of public rage.
“We’ve been getting a lot of nasty calls,” country club receptionist Karen Ojeda said.
Wright said she heard no racially charged comments when the campers were at the club but did hear a club member express displeasure that the children were at the pool. She said many parents made their children leave the pool after the campers arrived.
“There were no behavioral problems” with the campers, who were accompanied by eight Creative Steps staff members, Wright said. “They never gave a reason.”
Club member Bernadette Sinnott, 44, said that although she was not at the pool on June 29, she had heard the club took back the campers’ membership because of space issues, not race.
“I think they thought it was too crowded,” she said.
Sinnott was at the club yesterday with her son Brandon, 14, who said he was biracial and had never encountered racism at the pool.
The camp first contacted the club about membership after the New Frankford Community Y in the Frankford section of the city - where the children used to swim - closed last month because of lack of money. The club is about a 20-minute drive from the camp’s location at Devereaux and Summerdale Avenues in Northeast Philadelphia.
The campers swim at an indoor pool on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Jewish Community Center in Philadelphia, but Wright said the camp wanted to get them to an outdoor facility as well. She said Girard College had offered its pool to the campers for the rest of the summer.
City Councilwoman Maria Quiñones-Sánchez, who represents the camp’s Northeast Philadelphia district, said the allegations were upsetting but not surprising.
“It is outrageous and unfortunately part of what we still confront day in and day out because of folks’ lack of understanding,” she said. “Once you cross the county line, it’s a whole different world.”
Several parents and the camp are looking into possible legal action against the club, said Staci Morgan, a Creative Steps board member and Philadelphia social worker.
Their options depend on whether the state Human Relations Commission has jurisdiction over the club’s operations, said Michael Hardiman, a lawyer with the commission. Organizations that are “distinctly private” do not fall under that jurisdiction.
Hardiman would not say whether the Valley Swim Club met the commission’s criteria for investigation.
The club includes more than 10 acres of land and a 110,000-gallon pool, according to its Web site, and is a private nonprofit organization chartered in 1954. A single membership is $395 per year.
09-0710 Update by Myke Reinhold
So the owners have come forward and decided to plead their case on live TV to say this is not about race but rather safety. Um, sorry you white devil bitch but I am not buying this made for TV apology and as far as your hubby is concerned, maybe a nice white hood would have suited him better for the interview. I am sorry but they told you how many kids were coming but you still say it is about the fact you had no idea that many kids were coming. *cough* BULLS**T! *cough*

It has been some since I wrote or spoke about Global Warming. I promise you that I regularly pester and challenge the Green Peace monkeys on the 16th Street Mall in Denver. I also promise that Right-Brain continues his challenge of the Green Peace monkeys and to this day non of the wanna be Global Green Caron Credit collecting turds has been able to live up to their “beliefs”. How can you say you are out their to educate the public when you cannot actually provide any written and proven fact to the general public?!? My point is well documented in an article I just read that shows 5 very high profile Global Warming freak-outs proven to be media overblown and falsely given data. If you want to start a Global Warming media frenzy, just give a simple story to your local news agency with what appears to be hard data collected over a 5 year study. Then let the media blow it way out of proportion…then follow up with a simple, “Sorry, we were just playing and read the data wrong. Okay, actually we put data together that we collected while playing 2nd life and decided it looked good and official. Sorry.”. If it were not for the media, Al Gore never would have gotten as far as he has. Okay, back to this story. The story is titled, 5 Climate Studies That Don’t Live Up to the Hype. It goes through 5 very big and media driven stories that were proven to be either 100% false or so far fetched that they could make a movie out of it. Want to have fun? Ask a Green Peace activist if the movie The Day After Tomorrow (2004). I have asked 10 of them to date and all 10 said the exact same thing. “Um, so like Al Gore is a God and we worship his every word and our binders are filled with trueness and Godness from his holyness.”
Myke- “Hey tree humper! Are movies like The Day After Tomorrow accurate?”
Tree Humper - “If you need any proven truth to that question, watch An Inconvenient Truth (2006) by Al Gore.”
Myke- “But that documentary was based on falsely collected and documented data. The Al Gore group has even come back and aid that some data was misdriven and misguided but for the most part accurate. To me that sounds like the famous ‘I am not a criminal’ or ‘I did not have sexual relations with that woman’ or better yet ‘I did not offer sex to that man in the bathroom stall, I was simple asking him for toilet paper’. Come on man, every bit of ‘data’ you have in that binder is so out-dated and biased it is not even funny.”
Tree Humper1 and Tree Humper2- “Why don;t you just move along carbon emitting lazy mammal.”
Myke- “Really? Really?!? Is that the best you have now??? Move on you carbon emitting lazy mammal. Let em guess, you do not pass gas and your shoes are made from sea weed and the clothes you have on were woven from weeds in the darkest forest and your binder is filled with inkless paper made from an inkless printer. Sad, so very sad.”
At this time the dynamicless-duo proceeded to the other side of the street.
My point being is very simple folks, the Earth was once covered in Ice, Mother Nature will soon shake us off again, Greenland was once green and very soon Al Gore will have his day as people begin to wonder why they have given him so much money for nothing other than to pay for his homes, cars and McDonald’s burgers. Wake up people, if you want to help slow the next coming of the ice age…walk, run, use public transportation or ride a bicycle. We are an evolving World and to think that we can stop what has already been started is just plan idiotic. Try stopping Right-Brain at BD’s from getting any meat on his plate…exact same thing as trying to stop Mother Nature from hitting the reset button.
Here is the story written with information collected by Gavin Schmidt, a NASA climate modeler, author and PM editorial advisor.
A leading climate scientist argues that overbroad claims by some researchers—coupled with overblown reporting in the media—can undermine the public’s understanding of climate issues. Gavin Schmidt, a NASA climate modeler, author and PM editorial advisor, concurs with the consensus view that the planet’s temperature is rising due largely to human activity. But, he says, many news stories prematurely attribute local or regional phenomena to climate change. This can lead to the dissemination of vague, out-of-context or flat-wrong information to the public.
“People think that if there’s a trend, it has to be connected to this bigger trend,” he says. “You often get this kind of jumping the gun.” Sometimes researchers are citing a potential connection to global warming to get noticed, he says, and sometimes journalists are focusing on that connection to make the story more compelling. “There’s a bit of a backlash amid people who have a brain,” says Schmidt. “It’s akin to [the media’s reporting on] medical studies. It adds to people’s confusion.”
Here are 5 studies Schmidt points to that made unfulfilled promises, used loose, questionable climate connections to sensationalize a story or predicted events that never came to be.
The Study: In a study released to the public last month and set to be published in the Journal of Geophysical Research in August, a team of American scientists found by gathering wind-speed data across the country that average and peak wind speeds in the Midwest and the East had decreased since the 1970s.
The Fallout: Though the authors acknowledged their study was preliminary, they raised an intriguing possibility—that if dying wind were a true trend, global warming could be the cause. The reasoning was that warming in polar regions, brought on by climate change, would shrink the temperature difference between the poles and the equator, as well as the pressure difference. This would mean that winds would die down, and wind-power generation would be harmed by the very thing its proponents are trying to combat.
The Truth: Despite the delicious irony, Schmidt says, it’s far too early to say that the dying wind is even a trend, much less one caused by climate change. Windiness is a complex phenomena with different causes in different places, he says, and is not one that can be measured by a singular cause on a global scale. Winds can change in one area, but if they do, expect to see changes in phenomena related to wind, like temperature gradients, as well. The data don’t bear that out, he says, and his climate models don’t predict wind changes over the North American continent caused by global warming.
The Study: The thermohaline circulation is crucial to the Earth’s climate, acting like a conveyor belt carrying warm water into the North Atlantic and moderating the climate of North America and Europe. Many studies, however, have suggested that freshwater from melting sea ice might have the potential to shut down that circulation. A 2005 study showed a steep slowdown of the circulation between 1957 and 2004.
The Fallout: The idea that thermohaline circulation could come to an end, pushing the planet into a new ice age, exploded into popular culture after it showed up in movies like The Day After Tomorrow (2004) and Al Gore’s documentary, An Inconvenient Truth (2006).
The Truth: Schmidt says that what looked like a full-blown trend of the circulation weakening can be explained in part by studies showing that the circulation can vary its strength over many timescales, making it hard to see a real trend in the noise. That doesn’t mean that circulation could never be changed, Schmidt says, but the possibility was blown out of proportion. “The Gulf Stream shutting down is such a powerful meme,” he says.
The Study: In early 2006, a study in Nature published surprising results that plants were giving off trace amounts of methane.
The Fallout: We know that methane is a far more powerful greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, so the suggestion that it comes from plants led to a blizzard of headlines suggesting that trees could be contributing to global warming.
The Truth: The researchers balked after the media coverage of their study broke. The scientists said they were widely misinterpreted when it was reported that plants contribute to global warming. Rather, if plants do give off methane, they’ve been doing it since long before humans were on the scene and their emissions aren’t connected to today’s anthropogenic climate change. Schmidt says the findings were controversial among scientists from the beginning, because plants had never been known as methane emitters. “Subsequent work has dialed down the magnitude of this new effect tremendously,” he says.
The Study: A catastrophic rise in sea level is one of the worst consequences that some climate scientists predict for a warmer world. A study in Science in 2006 noted that temperatures by the end of the 21st century could be comparable to those 130,000 years ago, when global sea levels were about 20 feet higher.
The Fallout: Unsurprisingly, given the implications of the sea level rise, this study was sensationalized with headlines like “London Underwater by 2100 as Antarctica Crumbles into the Sea.” In his world tour, Al Gore also picked up the statistic, which led to much backlash both among scientists trying to get the science corrected and among climate skeptics.
The Truth: There’s a big gap between saying something is possible and predicting that it will occur, Schmidt says, and the authors didn’t predict that climate change would turn London into Atlantis by 2100. As Science’s editors said in the same issue, past climate changes should be taken into account when trying to predict future climate change, but they won’t be exactly the same. When media and others used the study as a predictive measure‹to say the sea will rise 20 feet in less than 100 years, Schmidt says, that “was a pretty egregious mess-up.”
The Study: In 2007, scientists found the oldest authenticated DNA ever, gathered from 400,000-year-old tree and insect samples entombed in the bottom of a Greenland glacier. About half a million years ago, the study concluded, Greenland was a pretty warm place.
The Fallout: When the study came out, Schmidt says, about many people responded to the DNA find itself. But the others keyed onto one sentence in the press release, in which the lead author suggested that the finding meant the Greenland ice sheet was more stable than scientists had previously thought. Because these seeds and DNA specimens were found in the ice sheet, the ice must have been intact for at least a half-million years and survived the warm period 130,000 years ago. This could mean that Greenland is more stable than scientists thought and in less danger from current warming.
The Truth: Schmidt isn’t impressed with the claim. The fact that Greenland was hot so recently (geologically speaking) shows that the ice isn’t that stable at all, and the latest satellite evidence contradicts the stability claim and shows that Greenland is steadily losing mass.
