The NFL Football season is upon us and it is time to get it on! With input from no one other than myself…a few are trying to persuade my picks…here are the predictions for Week 2 in the NFL.
Carolina Panthers (0-1) at Atlanta Falcons (1-0) - Atlanta
Jake Duuuuuuhlome, any questions.
Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) at Green Bay Packers (1-0) - Green Bay
Cincinnati does not look good yet and Green Bay just seems to tough to handle at home right now.
Minnesota Vikings (1-0) at Detroit Lions (0-1) - Minnesota
Detroit goes for a nice 19 game losing streak.
Arizona Cardnials (0-1) at Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1) - Arizona
Look for the Arizona offense to bounce back with a vengeance.
Oakland Raiders (0-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (0-1) - Oakland
Oakland looked very good last week and I am not sure that Kansas City can handle that much power, even at home. Look for a struggle on both sides of the ball but Oakland will come out on top.
New Orleans Saints (1-0) at Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) - New Orleans
Brees -vs- Kolb, no contest. This will not be a defensive battle like many have predicted. This will be a shootout with New Orleans on top.
Houston Texans (0-1) at Tennessee Titans (0-1) - Houston
The Titans do not look good at all yet and with so many people questioning their defense, I cannot pick them this week. Look for the Texans to make a big come back this week and I will watch Shaub make his name this week against a weak Titans secondary.
St Louis Rams (0-1) at Washington Redskins (0-1) - Washington
Sorry, but St Louis is in a battle with Detroit for the #1 pick in 2010.
New England Patriots (1-0) at NY Jets (1-0) - NY
New England looked a bit weak last week and did not look like the old Brady led Patriots. I love that the Jets came out with some trash talk and I think their defense backs it up this week.
Seattle Seahawks (1-0) at San Francisco (1-0) - San Francisco
I see the 49ers coming out strong and making a case for the division lead.
Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0) at Chicago Bears (0-1) - Pittsburgh
The Bears go trade for Cutler and forget about Forte. I do not see Cutler and the Bears making much of a difference this week against a very strong Steelers defense.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-1) at Buffalo Bills (0-1) - Buffalo
Tampa Bay appears to be a team on the decline and until they go back to the running attack they will continue to lose. Buffalo on the other hand will make a serious bounce back and prove to everyone that they can be a tough team on both sides of the ball.
Baltimore Ravens (1-0) at San Diego Chargers (1-0) - Baltimore
LT??? How in the hell does he claim to be the #1 RB in football? Anyways, LT hurt and the Ravens coming down on Rivers and Pee Wee, this will be a close game but Baltimore will come out on top.
Cleveland Browns (0-1) at Denver Broncos (1-0) - Denver
The Denver fans will win this game for the Broncos. Okay, that aside I see a defensive game here with Denver coming out on top.
NY Giants (1-0) at Dallas Cowboys (1-0) - NY Giants
I know, the opening of the new Cowboys stadium. I just think that the Giants front 7/8 will make life very hard for Romo and the Boys.
Indianapolis Colts (1-0) at Miami Dolphins (0-1) - Indianapolis
The Colts love being on Prime Time TV and will show everyone why they are still a tough team. The Dolphins have a tough night ahead of them and it will show by the 4th quarter.
I finished 12-4 last week and feel another solid week coming. If you doubt me, prove it to me. Make your picks!
